Hi, this is Alec, from the Netherlands. I started the course a few weeks ago. I find it hard but very inspiring. I still have to find my way around the site and I am looking for ways to interact with others. I just noticed I missed an introduction option 9 hours ago. If anybody has any ideas as how to get together I would love to hear about it. Greetings and keep up your meditation, study and happyness in this beautifull world!
Hi Alec, Andy from Zeeland here. I am still learning the ropes so can’t really help. Just one week in but already enjoying the explanations. How do you mean online Sangha? Discussion etc.
Hi Andy, thanks for your reaction. Yes, as I realized during a week in Kopan Monastery (Kathmandu, Nepal) a Sangha is so important. A live one close to home is off course the best idea. But why not online with others, like you and me, who are involved in this course. Maybe a group could form and inspire each other over the months.. Greetings, Alec
Sounds good. I was lucky enough to be at Kopan 15 years ago, I don’t have much contact with any of the fpmt etc. Just here in Holland ticking along. To say I miss the people is somewhat understating it.
Hi Andrew, sorry for this late reply. I still get lost in the digital world. So I am afraid that creating an online Sangha is not my cup of tee. But y`re ticking along in Holland, even today in this extreme heat. Have a nice day!
Much the same here. Hope you are enjoying the course. Take care.
