I had similar issues yesterday when trying to login from my tablet. Initially, I had the tablet in vertical position and could not find any button to login.I was really frustrated and then I turned the tablet in landscape mode and there it was, the button to sign in! So to me it seems to be a problem of the mobile website layout, that it only works correctly when in landscape mode.
